Research Description

By using chronical recording in primary visual cortex, Yin and his collaborators found that neuronal population codes are continuously refined over the course of perceptual training. His recent research goal is to dissect information integration and casual interactions between visual cortices in different hierarchies. By using reversibly cortex inactivation and implantable microelectrode arrays, he is aiming to separate neural mechanism between feedback and intra-cortical connections.
