Research Description

Serving as the Deputy Director of the Center for Beijing Aging Brain Rejuvenation, I focused on academic research at the intersection of psychology, cognitive neuroscience, and geriatric medicine. The aim is to use advanced computational methods and brain imaging techniques to explore the intrinsic connections between cognitive aging and the brain, clarify the impact pathways of lifestyle habits and past diseases on the occurrence of cognitive disorders, and decipher the "aging code" of the human brain, providing new means for the early assessment and precise intervention of cognitive disorders. As the head of the community base of the Beijing Aging Brain Rejuvenation Initiative (BABRI), the multi-dimensional geriatric brain health data established has provided important data support for localized research on cognitive aging and cognitive disorders, achieving foundational research results such as the conversion rate and risk scores of cognitive disorders in the Chinese elderly population, the laws of memory decline and cognitive norms, and the brain-targeting characteristics of vascular diseases causing cognitive decline. At the same time, sensitive indicators capable of efficiently identifying cognitive disorders have been extracted, forming a highly universal assessment tool suitable for large-scale screening—the digital memory clinic, which serves public health service projects in many parts of the country, multiple hospitals, and community health institutions, greatly improving the efficiency of early screening for cognitive disorders.
I have presided over five national-level projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation and the Ministry of Science and Technology's major new drug creation, and has participated as a key researcher in more than ten scientific and technological innovation projects, including the 2030 Science and Technology Innovation Project, key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, and the Beijing Brain Science Plan. With the identity of the first author/corresponding author, 28 papers have been published in authoritative SCI journals such as Alzheimers & Dementia and Journal of Neurosciences. I also hold several academic part-time positions, including the Standing Committee of the Brain Cognition and Health Branch of the Chinese Geriatrics and Geriatric Medicine Society, the Vice Chairman of the Youth Committee of the Cognitive Disorders Branch of the Chinese Geriatrics and Geriatric Medicine Society, and a reviewer for the National Natural Science Foundation and academic journals related to cognitive aging.
