Wang Wenjing is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at State Key Laboratory of Cognitive Neuroscience and Learning of Beijing Normal University. She is director of Chinese Culture Education Research Institute in Beijing Normal University, vice-chairman of Traditional Culture Education Branch of the Chinese Education Society, and the deputy chief of the National Preprimary, Primary and Secondary  Teacher Training Committee. Prof.Wang’s research focuses on Chinese excellent traditional culture education, teacher education and learning science,specializing in educational application and intervention. She has published over 60 papers in both Chinese and English academic journals, including Educational Research, Xinhua Digest, Plos One, Frontiers in Human Neuroscience, and The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America. She has also produced more than 10 academic books and textbooks with respect to different research fields, including The Innovative Educational Research Paradigm: Design-based Research, Reading and Child Development, and Inheritance of Teachers, Theory and Practice in Cultivation of Teachers’ Work Ethic through Chinese Excellent Traditional Culture . She won numerous awards for her work, including the second prize of the 7th Outstanding Achievements Award (Humanities and Social Sciences) of Higher Education Institutions, the 10th Beijing Philosophy and Social Science Award and Beijing Municipal Government Elementary Education Teaching Achievement Award. She has presided a number of Humanities and Social Sciences Planning Project of Ministry of Education, key project of the 13th Five-years Plan of National Education Sciences and key project of the reformation of elementary education curriculum in Beijing. At present, the research group is mainly dedicated to exploring the "learning and teaching" of Chinese excellent traditional culture in the contemporary era, and promoting the construction and development of Chinese excellent traditional culture inheritance system.
